Summer Swim

FAQs

  • Why should my child take swimming lessons?
Swim lessons build confidence, improve technique, and help children stay safe in and around water. Regular practice throughout childhood ensures consistent skill development.
  • How do group vs. private lessons differ?
In a group class (4–8 swimmers), students benefit from peer interaction and learn to follow along in a structured format. Private lessons offer one-on-one attention for those needing specialized focus.
  • How many sessions should my child attend?
We recommend taking swim lessons annually until at least age 12. Progress depends on regular practice both in and out of lessons.
  • What if my child is older but a complete beginner?
We want children to be with others closer to their age. Please call to discuss the best option.
  • Can I host a birthday party at the outdoor pool?
We do not allow private parties at the outdoor pool. If you’re interested in a private pool party, please check out our Indoor Pool rental options.
  • What if I don’t want to swim?
Non-swimmers (ages 3 and up) pay a $2.00 admission fee to enter the facility. Children 2 and under are free
  • Are there changing areas?
Yes, we have on-site restrooms and changing areas for the indoor and outdoor pools.
  • Do you offer swim lessons in the outdoor pool?
Swim lessons are only held in the indoor pool.
  • Do I need to bring my own towels and goggles?
Yes, please bring your own towels, goggles, or floats. We do not provide items for use, but we do sell some items at our concession stand if you forget.
  • Is the pool really private during my rental?
Yes, the pool is reserved exclusively for you and your guests. Only our staff member will be present to monitor the pool.
  • Can I have more than 30 swimmers at a party?
Parties of 2.5 hours or longer can accommodate up to 30 swimmers. If you expect more than 30, please call to discuss options.
  • What if I have more than 15 swimmers for a 2-hour party?
There is an additional $50 fee to cover extra chemicals and cleanup.
  • Do I need to bring my own food, or do you provide catering?
You’re welcome to bring your own food, drinks, and cake. Please store and serve them in the party room, not by the pool.
  • Are there any age restrictions?
We welcome swimmers of all ages, but children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
