the May 21 - only has a few signed up. please come and compete - may combine some age groups.

Dates:  June 18, July 30, Aug. 27, Sept. 17

$25.00 for the first race or races including T-shirt

$20.00 for additional races without T-shirt

additional T-shirts available for purchase of $12.00

Biathlon participants are Free to swim that day after the race (and shower) is finished

 

Races begin at 8AM for the youngest age group and next ages begin when they finish swimming.

 

Medals will be awarded for 1st-3rd places of each age group and gender, with ribbons for places 4th – 8th

 

Age groups:(as of June 1st)

5 & 6: swim 25 yards, run ½ mile

7 & 8 swim 50 yards, run ¾ mile

9 &10 swim 75 yards, run 1 mile

11 – 13 swim 125 yards, run 1 ½ mile

14 – 18 swim 150 yards, run 1 ¾ mile

(each length of our outdoor lap pool is 25 yards)

 

Swim time and run time will be combined to determine each participants time.

The running portion of the race will consist of hills, fields, and small obstacles such as logs to jump over. We will make up rain days. June date was change to the 18 due to a conflict.

Parents may run with their child - no helping - keep it fair. Floats may be worn.

The concession stand will be open.
